GEELONG has named its Round 9 team that will play the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium on Saturday, presented by Coulter Roache.
Both sides are still chasing their first victory of their 2021 campaigns and will be looking to conclude the home and away season on a high.
The Cats have made two changes for the 5.10pm AEDT clash.
Vice-captain Jordan Ivey returns for the Cats alongside Georgie Rankin. Both players missed last week's narrow loss to the Giants and will play their eighth game of this AFLW campaign.
Their inclusions are offset by the loss of Denby Taylor to injury and Rebecca Goring to work commitments.
Geelong will be eager to send out Aasta O'Connor with a win after she announced earlier in the week that she would be hanging up the boots at the end of the season.
Captain Meghan McDonald will play her 25th AFLW game.
Georgia Clarke and Maddy Boyd have been named as the emergencies with both players set to play in Geelong's Round 5 VFLW game this week.
