Dashing defender Josh Cowan is set to return to action in the VFL this weekend.
Cowan has recovered from the knee injury he suffered against Sandringham on June 5 and should be right to line up in the VFL Cats' clash with the Box Hill Hawks at Simonds Stadium on Sunday.
"Josh got through training on Tuesday with confidence and seems to have overcome his knee strain," Cats physio Mark Young said on the round 13 episode of nib Medical Room.
"We'll put him through him through his paces a little more on Thursday.
"He'll be a test, but we're hopeful."
