Both coaches gave Harry Taylor the nod as the best player on the ground after Geelong's win over Richmond on Saturday.
Taylor, who booted four goals and had the better of star Tigers defender Alex Rance, received the maximum 10 votes in the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year award for his efforts.
Cats players dominated the voting, with Patrick Dangerfield, Cameron Guthrie, Jed Bews and Tom Stewart also among the votes.
Dangerfield now trails Richmond's Dustin Martin by just five votes on the leaderboard.
