The Geelong Cats' NAB AFL Women's Round 2 fixture has been changed after multiple players from the Western Bulldogs' and Brisbane Lions' AFLW programs entered AFL Health and Safety Protocols this week.
The Cats were originally slated to host the Bulldogs at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night, but will now host Carlton instead.
The new match will take the place of the previous fixture, and will be held at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday, 15 January with first bounce at 7.10pm.
For supporters who have already purchased tickets to attend the match at GMHBA Stadium, those tickets will remain valid for Geelong Cats vs. Carlton. Ticketmaster will be in contact should any ticket purchasers wish to receive a refund.
The revised fixture means the Cats will still be able to celebrate their first match at Geelong in 2022 this weekend, with a special Summer Footy Festival on the Interactive Lawn outside GMHBA Stadium from 5pm.
The festival will feature food trucks, AFL Playground and footy activities, live music and entertainment, a silent disco and much more - with special guests Half-Cat and Clawdia dropping by.
