TOM Stewart has been recognised for his efforts in holding back the Hawks, named the third best player on the ground in Geelong's losing effort on Easter Monday.
After missing the previous round with a bout of gastro, the Geelong vice-captain was instrumental in turning defence into attack as the Cats battled the plucky Hawks.
