It has been an important week for the Geelong Football Club with today marking five years since the Deakin Cats Community Centre (DCCC) opened its doors for the first time.
In proud partnership with Deakin University, the DCCC is the hub for delivery of the club’s flagship community programs and is home to the Past Players and Officials Association, and Gartland Heritage Centre.
The DCCC celebrated another significant milestone earlier in the week, reaching 90,000 visitations.
“Deakin Cats Community Centre provides a great range of free meeting spaces that’s really important to not-for-profit and other community-based organisations.”
“It’s easy to book and staff are really helpful with set up and IT support. The facilities are terrific!
Deakin Cats Community Centre is a great, flexible space to hold both formal and informal events. We really love working with the team at the club!”
Helen Boult, Administration Coordinator, Geelong Region Local Learning & Employment Network
