GEELONG is heading to Warrnambool next week for the 2023 AFL Community Camp, in partnership with AFL Victoria.

The Cats will arrive in Warrnambool on Monday kicking-off with a number of school visits before an open training session at Reid Oval on Monday afternoon where attendees can get a photo with the 2022 AFL Premiership Cup.

At the conclusion of the school visits on Tuesday afternoon, a selection of players from both Cats AFL and AFLW programs will partake in a Djilang Program, with 2023 First Nations guernsey artist Michelle Searle in attendance.

Djilang – the Wadawurrung name for Geelong – is a cultural connection program run by the Geelong Cats in consultation with the local First Nations community.

Following the Djilang Program, the Cats will wrap up their time in Warrnambool with a ‘Footy 4 Fun’ clinic at Reid Oval.
