Has now served his two-match suspension for his sling-tackle on Fremantle's Michael Johnson during the Cats' final NAB Challenge match.
Daniel Menzel
Has been an emergency for both of the Cats' AFL clashes so far this season. Pressed his claims for a recall to the AFL side by kicking two goals and gathering 14 disposals in the VFL Cats' 50-point practice match loss to Collingwood at Simonds Stadium on Saturday.

George Horlin-Smith
Dominated in the VFL two weeks ago, gathering 35 disposals against North Ballarat, but didn't play at any level on the weekend after heading to Canberra as the travelling emergency.
Josh Cowan
Like Menzel, has been an emergency for both of the Cats' AFL clashes so far this season. Played in the VFL game against the Magpies on the weekend and was named among Geelong's best players.

Jed Bews
Was named among the Cats' best players in the VFL loss to the Magpies. He fought hard down back, gathering 15 disposals and taking seven marks.
