GEELONG has named three changes for its Round 3 clash with Darebin on Saturday.

Cats fans will be pleased to see Chloe Scheer pull on the Hoops this round in what will be her first VFLW appearance of the season.

Scheer will be joined by VFLW-listed Cats Bree Beckley and Eliza Wilson-Macdonald who come into the side to face the Falcons.

The Cats will be without Poppy Schaap for the clash, the new Cat suffering an ankle injury during last week's hitout against the Blues.

"Poppy suffered an ankle injury during our Round 2 game," said VFLW Team Manager Taylar Borg.

"After discussions with a surgeon, she proceeded to have an operation on Thursday. Poppy will work with the high-performance team through their rehab to determine an appropriate return to play."

Abbey McDonald (unavailable) and Breanna Pratt (omitted) also come out of the side ahead of Round 3.

The Cats will be chasing consecutive wins in Round 3 after recording a one-point victory in Round 2 against the Blues at Ikon Park.

All matches in the 2023 Smithy’s VFL and rebel VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
