Geelong started their season in the best way possible, defeating Fremantle by 78 points at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday afternoon. 

There were plenty of storylines throughout the weekend, including the performance of new recruit Bailey Smith who finished with 32 disposals and seven clearances. 

Attention now turns to round two of the AFL season, with the Cats heading to Marvel Stadium for a clash with St Kilda.

MONDAY

TUESDAY

1.00pm - Join Cameron Ling and Meg McDonald on this week's episode of 'To the Final Bell,' as they review the win over Fremantle and preview round two.  

3.00pm - Hear from Ollie Dempsey fresh off the round one victory against Fremantle, in the Cats weekly player press conference.

5.00pm - Get information on the health of Geelong's list, in the round two GMHBA Health Update. 

WEDNESDAY

6.00pm - Geelong champion, James Kelly looks back at an entertaining match against St Kilda from 2005 for this week's Time Cat-Sule.

6.20pm - The team is in for the round two clash with the Saints, tune into Cats channels to see the ins and outs for Saturday night. 

FRIDAY

10.00am - See everything you need to know ahead of Saturday's clash in the Cats Match Preview. 

12.00pm - Head coach, Chris Scott fronts the media for his weekly press conference ahead of Saturday's game. 

4.00pm - For the first time in 2025, Geelong will announce their VFL team which will take on Sandringham in the opening round of the season.

SATURDAY

7.35pm - The preparations are complete and the Cats are back in action, taking on St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

10.30pm - Catch up on all the action from Saturday night's match in the weekly match report. 

11.00pm - Tune in after the game to hear from Geelong coach, Chris Scott as he provides insight into the Cats performance. 

SUNDAY 

10.00am - Following Saturday's game, tune into the Geelong website to get a breakdown of the stats and some key performances.
