Geelong will welcome back Brayden Ham as a host of AFL experience returns to the line-up ahead of Saturday's VFL clash with Footscray.

Ham last played against Werribee in Round 4, and has been named to take on the Dogs, further bolstering the Cats' forward line.

AFL emergencies Brandan Parfitt, Jack Bowes and Sam Simpson have also been named pending substitute selection, while Marcus Herbery, Ben Lloyd and Ryan Eyers are all set to return.

Ocean Grove local Kye Annand will make his debut, slotting into the line up as a key forward/ruck.

The Cats will be keen to build on their encouraging form after beating Port Melbourne last weekend, and can take confidence from the fact they won their most recent clash at Avalon Airport Oval, against Werribee in Round 4.

First bounce is 2.35pm Saturday. Stream all the VFL action live through the official AFL website and app.
