Chloe Scheer has been awarded the maximum ten votes by the coaches, for her five goal performance that helped steer the Cats to victory over Sydney.
The spearhead forward was electric around goal picking up 10 disposals and four marks, while kicking her first four goals before the five minute mark of the second quarter.
Nina Morrison received eight votes for her dominant outing through the midfield, collecting 21 disposals while also pushing forward to kick a goal.
With Sydney putting significant work into stopping Georgie Prespakis, Morrison stood tall in the middle winning six clearances and laying nine tackles.
Jacqueline Parry received two votes for her second consecutive three goal performance, picking up 11 disposals and five marks in another impressive outing for the Cats key forward.
Star midfielder Amy McDonald was also awarded two votes, picking up 20 disposals and six clearances along with an impressive goal just after half time.
The AFL Coaches Association’s AFLW Champion Player of the Year is an award voted by the AFLW senior coaches on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
