GEELONG is set to face some difficult decisions at the match committee table next week with several Cats in the mix to return against the Pies in the qualifying final.

Mitch Duncan and Gary Rohan have been declared available for the MCG blockbuster.

“Last week against Carlton Mitch Duncan injured his shoulder and Gary Rohan tweaked his knee at one stage, but that was not related to his previous injury,” General Manager of Football Simon Lloyd said.

“Both will be available, and both played out the game and really had no issues, so they will be fine.”

The news was also positive for Tom Atkins and Jake Kolodjashnij.

“Tommy Atkins will be available and obviously Jake Kolodjashnij missed out last week with a hip issue and he looks like he will be fine."

Geelong’s shrinking injury list combined with impressive performances in the VFL from the likes of Sam Menegola and Scott Selwood have the Cats in a strong position to attack September.

“It’s a strong united playing group that really believes where they can take this,” Lloyd said.

“People talk about that we are in a great position because we have a healthy list and that’s a real credit to our conditioning team, our medical staff and our playing group as well to how well prepared they are, but some tough decisions will need to be made at the match committee table.”

Finally, Jordan Clark will complete his comeback from an elbow injury in Geelong’s VFL elimination final against Port Melbourne on Saturday.
