The VFL Cats have named 10 AFL-listed players among their 27-man squad for Sunday's clash with Frankston, which will be broadcast live on Channel 7.
A number of changes have been made to the line-up that lost to Collingwood by 20 points at Simonds Stadium last weekend.
The Cats have regained Tom Ruggles (AFL omission) and experienced VFL-listed players in Ryan Williams, Simon Close and Sandy Robinson
They have also called up youngsters Sam McLachlan, Paul Burchell and Timm House.
Out of the team that lost to the Magpies go Ryan Gardner (managed), Wylie Buzza (managed) and Cameron Tudor (ankle).
Marcus Thompson from Geelong Football League club Leopold Football Club has been selected as the Cats' 23rd player this weekend.
Marcus has been elevated from the 2016 VFL Development Squad after showing strong form in the Geelong Football League in recent weeks.
The 23rd player rule is designed to enable clubs to promote young talent and provide them with a taste of VFL football to aid their development.
The VFL Cats sit 10th on the ladder with two wins, three losses and a percentage of 114.32
Frankston sits 12th on the ladder with two wins and three losses.
