The Club wishes to advise that Diana Taylor AM has stepped down from the Club’s Board after 14 years of service.

Diana has served on the Board since 2010 as a Director and then Vice President from 2019, combining her love of Geelong with her passion for football.

Contributing significantly to our Club and more broadly our great game, Diana was not only Vice President but also chair of our Club’s Corporate Governance Committee, member of the AFLW Competition Committee and chaired AFL Victoria's leading club diversity program with VicHealth, the Fair Game - Respect Matters Program.

As a long serving Director, Diana has displayed a great passion and commitment to our Club and its members and was an integral part of the Board seeing the completion of GMHBA Stadium and record-breaking membership numbers.

Geelong President Craig Drummond said the Club was thankful for Diana’s contribution.

“Diana has dedicated significant time to our Club over the past 14 years, bringing expertise to the Board that has helped shape the direction of our Club and ensure its ongoing success.

“Diana’s impact has been felt across our programs, in particular her leadership in AFLW and VFLW, where her passion to provide opportunities for women and girls has been evident.

“On behalf of my fellow directors, Kate Betts, Barry Fagg, Grant McCabe, Lyndsay Sharp, Kate Spargo and James Sutherland, and chief executive Steve Hocking, we thank Diana for all she has contributed to the football club and the broader Geelong community.”

The Club congratulates Diana on her extensive service to the Geelong Football Club over her long standing tenure and wish her and her family the very best for the future.
