The AFL has today announced the AFLW Practice and Match Simulation fixtures, with the Cats set to play two warm-up games in Victoria in preparation for their 2024 season.
The Cats will face Collingwood at 2.30pm on the 10th of August at AIA Vitality Centre in a match simulation, before heading up the highway to take on Essendon.
The official practice match will see Geelong head to Windy Hill for a clash with Bombers on the 17th of August at 1.00pm, in what will be a rematch of the 2023 Elimination Final.
Entry is FREE for the game against the Bombers, with with the match to also be live-streamed via the Club’s website.
Geelong will open off their AFLW season on the 31st of August, hosting Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium in the opening round of 2024.
