Tanner Bruhn and Ted Clohesy have entered the AFL’s concussion protocols following their games on the weekend.
Bruhn was subbed out after half-time in the game against Fremantle, while Clohesy sustained the knock in the Cats’ VFL game against Carlton.
Assistant General Manager of Football Brett Johnson said the pair will continue to be assessed as they work through the protocols.
“Tanner and Ted will both miss this weekend, we will know more about their availability as they move through the return to play protocols” Johnson said.
After missing the win against Fremantle with a knee injury, Sam De Koning has today had a minor procedure on his knee.
“Sam has been managing a knee injury, more particularly with his patella. He has had a minor procedure today and we expect him to miss one-to-two weeks," Johnson said.
“It is unfortunate for Sam, but he is ready to tackle his rebab head on. We look forward to seeing him back in the coming weeks.”
The Cats will continue to monitor Cameron Guthrie (achilles) and Mark O’Connor (knee) throughout their rehabilitation and will confirm a return to play timeframe as they get closer.
Geelong takes on St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night, with first bounce at 7.30pm. Get your tickets today at www.ticketmaster.com.au.
