Scott on finishing in the top four

It is good to be going into a Finals series in good shape.

We never take for granted how hard the game is and how difficult it is to get yourself in a position to finish top four and have a real crack at it.

We feel well prepared, we obviously played well in the first half.

All in all if you look at the second half of our season, we feel like we are ready to attack the Finals series and give it a good shake.

Scott on the takeaways from Saturday's game

Days like this are a little bit difficult to analyse, there was a bit of uncertainty going into the game.

Whenever you are in that frame of mind, I think it is good policy to get back to what is that you do.

I thought our guys focused on that really well and executed particularly well early in the game.

We didn’t want to spend too much time thinking about them, it was more focusing on getting us right for a Finals series.

All in all I think we come away from the game feeling like we achieved that.

Scott on Jeremy Cameron's performance

He has had a lot of shots this year and accuracy hasn’t been his strength necessarily, but he certainly fixed that up pretty early in the game.

He goes into the Finals series in great shape, really confident in his ability and I think anyone would be if they had his ability.

He is physically really good too which is good for us, he is a difficult threat because he is a key position forward who can play as a ground level roaming player as well.  

Scott on the what separates 

At the start of this season, I don’t think we were forecasting that Ollie Dempsey would be as important to us as he is.

We brought Shaun Mannagh in thinking he could play AFL footy, he is in really good shape and understands our system.

This guy has been a really good player for us for a while now, but Jack Henry has had his challenges with injury and he finds himself in really good form now.

I think you reference Max Holmes as well, I would put Tanner Bruhn in that as well.

When you think of the guys who haven’t had a perfect run through the second half of the season, for Tanner to come in and play as well as he did today was a really good sign for us.
