Geelong will travel to Adelaide on Thursday 5 September to play Port Adelaide in week 1 of the Toyota AFL finals series.

After a 93 point victory against the Eagles on Saturday, and a loss to GWS on Sunday meant the Cats secured third on the AFL ladder after 24 rounds with a 15-8 record.

The winner of the Second Qualifying final will progress to week 3 and a host a home Preliminary Final with the loser to face off against the winner of Hawthorn and Western Bulldogs.

Ticket on-sale information will be communicated to member and fans later on Monday morning.
