A number of the AFL’s most prestigious honours will be awarded this week, when the 2024 AFL Awards night takes place on Thursday.

After naming their 44-player All-Australian squad earlier this week, the final team of 22 will be announced on the night celebrating the best players from the 2024 season.

Along with the All-Australian team, the Telstra AFL Rising Star will be announced and the Coleman Medal will be presented on the night.

The AFL Players Association will also present their awards such as the MVP, Best Captain, Most Courageous Player and Best First Year Player.

See below the Cats who have been nominated for each award.

2024 AFL All Australian Team

Jeremy Cameron, Max Holmes and Tyson Stengle were all named in the initial 44-player squad earlier in the week.

Dempsey averaged 18 disposals per game and booted 21 goals across the season, putting together an incredible highlight reel full of spectacular goals and high-flying marks in 2024.

Lawson Humphries also received a Telstra AFL Rising Star nomination in round 18, collecting 23 disposals at 96% efficiency against Collingwood.
