Scott on Sam De Koning's Return
We were always confident that Sam could play in the ruck, he had just been such a good key defender for us that it hadn't been a priority.
What we were hoping to do as much as anything was to get to this point of the year where we firstly had some depth, and so we had some options.
Exactly which way we choose to go over the next month or so hopefully, is still a little bit up for debate.
We need to think a little bit about cohesiveness and stability, but it is not as if we are trying something that hasn't been tried if we decied to use him in the ruck.
Scott on Port Adelaide's form
I think everyone going into the Finals series is in pretty good form.
It has been an incredibly close season, I would suspect that all eight teams would be going in thinking their best would be good enough if they can make it happen on the day.
We have seen that through Port's performances during the year, their best is really good.
It has never been truer that to win a premiership, it is the best team across the last couple of weeks such is the evenness of the competition.
I think that is exciting for us all.
Scott on the midfield battle
They are good players that knowledge is not confined to South Australia I am sure, we all understand how good those guys can be.
We didn't play well last time but they played exceptionally well, those guys around the ball were certainly key to that.
It is a good challenge for us.
Scott on how he feels heading into September
I hope I feel the same way that I always do, I tend to look at seasons in isolation.
If there is some comfort that comes from prior success, I am the unfortunate one that doesn't feel it.
I see the opportunity that is front of us every year, when you work so hard to get yourself in a position where you finish top four it is exciting, but it is daunting as well.
The stakes are high and you know that if you can get it done, it is an amazing feeling and if you can't it is the opposite.
The extremes are so magnified at this time of year.
