Jeremy Cameron’s brilliant 2024 season has been recognised, finishing in third place in the Carji Greeves Medal.  

Cameron finished with 118 votes to round out the podium placings, finishing behind winner Max Holmes (164) and runner-up Zach Guthrie (119).  

Enjoying another stellar season in the Hoops, Cameron kicked 64 goals for the year, including a remarkable nine goal haul in Round 24 against West Coast.  

Cameron, who celebrated his 250th AFL game in Round 22, finished second in the Coleman Medal and earned his fourth All Australian jacket last month.

Continuing to be a dangerous and potent option in the Cats forward half, Cameron averaged the most shots on goal by any player in the AFL per game (5.2). 

Starting the season strongly, Cameron kicked 19 goals across the first seven games, which included a six-goal haul against North Melbourne, and five goals against Carlton.  

After spending time up the ground in the middle phase, Cameron was swung back to his natural position in the latter stages kicking 42 goals across his last 13 games of the season.   

His scintillating performances were also recognised on Brownlow night, with Cameron polling 16 votes to finish on top of the Cats leaderboard in 2024.
