Geelong has finalised its list management changes ahead of the upcoming AFL National Draft.

The Club has informed Joe Furphy that he will not be offered a contract for 2025.

Furphy joined the Cats as a Category B rookie in 2024 and following a delayed start to the season with an ankle injury played 10 VFL games this season, including both Finals against Werribee and Southport.

Geelong Cats General Manager of Football Andrew Mackie acknowledged Furphy’s time at the Club.

“We have enjoyed having Joe as part of our football program in 2024, he is a quality person and we wish him all the best in the future.”
