Geelong Cats has named its team for the blockbuster Easter Monday clash against Hawthorn at the MCG. 

The Cats have made just one change, with Tom Stewart returning to the team after missing last week through illness. 

Ted Clohesy has been omitted and will be an emergency for Monday's game, alongside George Stevens and Oli Wiltshire. 

Geelong and Hawthorn will square off in one of the most anticipated games of the 2025 season as they prepare to do battle at the MCG from 3.20pm AEST.

General Public tickets for Monday's match sold out earlier in the week. Geelong and Hawthorn members with general admission access via their membership, as well as pre-purchased general admission Ticketek ticket holders, can still scan into the match and attend on game day.

Members with General Admission access can scan in through any public gate, subject to capacity. General Admission areas for this match are:

  • Ponsford Stand - Level 4, Bays Q29 - Q36
  • Olympic Stand - Level 4, Bays Q49 - Q55, Rows AA - MM

March to the ‘G is back for our Easter Monday blockbuster!

Geelong Cats fans are invited to take part in our March to the ‘G prior to Monday’s match, led by the Geelong Cats Marching Band. Meet at Federation Square at 1.30pm for a 1.45pm start, before arriving at the MCG by 2pm.
