Geelong has made to changes to the team that beat Carlton last Saturday night.

Coming into the side to face the undefeated Sydney Swans are defender Jared Rivers and midfielder George Horlin-Smith.

Rivers and Horlin-Smith both played in the Cats opening round win over Hawthorn however Rivers suffered a knee injury in the game and Horlin-Smith was omitted the following week meaning they both haven't played since.

Making way for the duo are Travis Varcoe who suffered a shoulder injury and will face an extended spell on the sidelines and Jordan Murdoch who has been omitted.

The Cats and Swans will clash on Friday night at the SCG with the game televised on Channel 7.
