Missed the loss to the Crows due to hamstring soreness but is considered a chance to return to take on the Blues.

Nakia Cockatoo
Hasn't played since suffering a hamstring injury against West Coast in round 13. Has been stepping up his workload on the training track in the past two weeks and looks on the verge of a return.

Wylie Buzza
Impressed in the AFL side in the recent matches against Greater Western Sydney and the Brisbane Lions, before heading back to the VFL. Will come into calculations if the coaches decide to change the mix of tall players for the clash with the Blues.

Jackson Thurlow
Was an emergency for the clash with Adelaide on Friday and was then the best AFL-listed player in the VFL Cats' loss to Sandringham on Saturday. Racked up 29 disposals in a promising display in the midfield.

Aaron Black
Another player who was an emergency for the game against the Crows, Black kicked three goals in the VFL Cats' loss to the Zebras, earning himself a mention among the best players.

Sam Simpson
The third of the unused emergencies for the clash with Adelaide, Simpson played in the midfield in the VFL match against Sandringham. Finished with 14 disposals and two tackles.
