GEELONG’s Patrick Dangerfield has claimed best-on-ground honours from the coaches for his 37 disposal and two goal performance against Melbourne.
Dangerfield claimed 10 votes to move to third spot overall on the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award leaderboard, three votes behind fellow Cat Tim Kelly.
The skillful midfielder continued his red-hot start to 2019, receiving eights votes to take his season tally to 18 after collecting 30 disposals and a goal against the Dees.
Jake Kolodjashnij was awarded three votes after keeping dangerous forward Christian Petracca goalless.

Luke Dahlhaus and Tom Stewart were the next highest vote-getters, polling two votes apiece.
Mitch Duncan also managed to snare a vote for his 26 disposal and seven mark game.
