With nearly a full list to choose from, Geelong’s match committee will have a tough challenge on their hands to settle on a final 22 to play Collingwood.

We take a look at the Cats in contention.

Jake Kolodjashnij
Set to return against Collingwood and resume his rivalry with Jordan De Goey after he helped nullify the dangerous Pie the last time the two sides met in round one.

Tom Atkins
Missed Geelong’s round 23 win against Carlton with a hand injury. Has fully recovered from a minor surgical procedure and is a strong chance of reclaiming his spot in the side.

"He'd be hard to keep out of this team - I can't come up with a logical argument to leave him out," Coach Chris Scott said.

Sam Menegola (27 disposals, 10 clearances, nine tackles)
Appears next cab off the rank for a midfield berth after being squeezed out of the side in the latter stages of the season. His ability to cover ground will see him in the mix for a midfield berth.

James Parsons (22 disposals, five inside 50s, four clearances)
Is one of the top performers in the VFL each week. Brings versatility to any team he plays for with his ability to play inside and out, as well as push forward and hit the scoreboard.

Scott Selwood in action against Port Melbourne on Saturday.

Charlie Constable (35 disposals, six clearances, four tackles)
Had a busy opening half, amassing 24 disposals and playing an important role in the midfield.

Scott Selwood (20 disposals, 11 tackles, three score involvements)
Another Cat who was strong in the contest with 20 touches and 11 tackles.

Darcy Fort (One goal, seven disposals, three tackles)
His input was slightly down on previous weeks with just seven touches and a goal. Has been one of the Cats top performers in the past month and will be ready to go if needed in the finals.

Zac Smith (27 Hitouts, 14 disposals, four clearances)
Has been in and out of the AFL side this season. Played back to back games in rounds 19 and 20 but was unable to cement his place in the side.

Ryan Abbott wins the tap against Port Melbourne.

Ryan Abbott (42 Hitouts, 15 disposals, 10 clearances)
Was the most prolific big man on the ground with a game-high 42 hitouts to go with 10 clearances.

Sam Simpson (25 disposals, 13 tackles, eight clearances)
One of Geelong’s best in their elimination final loss to Port Melbourne. Was strong in the contest and used the football well under pressure.

Jordan Clark (One goal, five disposals, three tackles)
Kicked a nice goal playing limited minutes in his return from an elbow injury.

Wylie Buzza (Two goals, 13 disposals, four marks)
Kicked multiple goals for the 11th time this season. Should anything happen to one of the key forwards, Buzza could come in and play a role.
