GEELONG’s Tim Kelly has been adjudged the Cats’ best-afield by the coaches in Saturday’s loss to the Swans.

Kelly had 19 disposals, five tackles and kicked a goal as he received five votes from the coaches in the Shadforth Financial Group AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award voting.

The first-year Cat was the third highest vote-getter, with Josh Kennedy and Callum Sinclair receiving nine votes each.

Tom Stewart was the only other Cat to poll, receiving one vote for his 15 dispoals, four tackles and hard-edged play. 

Hawthorn’s Tom Mitchell currently tops the leaderboard, with Collingwood’s Steele Sidebottom trailing in second by two votes.
