We take a look at which Cats are in the selection mix ahead of our round nine match against the Bombers on Saturday.
Tom Hawkins
The big key forward missed the crucial clash with Collingwood through suspension but will a sure thing to return for the Country game against Essendon. Been finding some form, with six goals in his past two games.
Daniel Menzel
A groin complaint has seen the mercurial forward miss the last three games. Only a 50/50 chance to line-up this week as well. Menzel is leading the goal-kicking with 15 goals in his five games so far this year, including a bag of five against the Saints.
Scott Selwood
The tough midfielder was a late withdrawal with a back complaint. Nothing too serious according to coach Chris Scott so will most likely come straight back for Saturday’s game against Essendon at the G.
Lachie Fogarty
The surprise packet of 2018 so far, the lightly built midfielder was rested for the Collingwood clash, but his form in his opening seven games would mean that he is right in the frame for a return to the seniors. Averaging 14 disposals and four tackles in 2018.
Brandan Parfitt
A chance to line up this week after missing the past three games with a foot complaint. The young midfielder impressed in his five games so far this season, averaging 21 disposals and a goal.
