Geelong are set to head to the Gabba on Saturday night, taking on Brisbane as they search for their second win of the 2025 AFL season. 

Since the 1991 season, the Cats have ventured to the Gabba 28 times and hold a relatively strong record, winning 16 of those games. 

Chris Scott has also coached his side to plenty of success against the Lions, winning 16 of 21 matches during his time at the helm.

43 - Geelong's total number of matches against the Brisbane Lions since they entered the league. The Cats hold the advantage in the battle, currently sitting at 25 wins and 18 losses. 

102 - The Cats biggest winning margin at the Gabba. This came in Geelong's very first match at the venue, back in the 1991 season. 

11 - The most goals in a game by an individual Geelong player at the Gabba, Billy Brownless setting that record in 1991.

32 - The most uncontested possessions in a single game, by a Geelong player across the club's history. The record was first set by Andrew Mackie who recorded that number in 2008 against Brisbane, Joel Selwood equalled that number once again against the Lions in 2010, and Gary Ablett Junior also reached the number in 2009. 

97 - Geelong's average total score at the Gabba.  

45 - The most goals in a career by a Geelong player at the Gabba, a record currently held by Tom Hawkins.

14 - The most rebound 50s in a game by a Geelong player across the club's history, Josh Hunt equalling that record against Brisbane at the Gabba in 2006. The other two times that record was equalled came in 2004 by Hunt again, and by Tom Stewart against Collingwood in 2022. 

76.19 - Chris Scott's total win percentage against Brisbane as a coach, currently holding a 16-5 record.
