It is an exciting week ahead for the Geelong Football Club, celebrating 100 years of partnership with Ford as the Cats take on Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night.

Geelong will be looking to bounce back after falling to Brisbane in round three, with the VFL Cats also in action in a curtain raiser against Casey.

In the lead up to Friday night's match, here is a full rundown of what to expect on geelongcats.com.au and the official app.

MONDAY

12.00pm - Take a first look ahead to Friday night's clash, as Geelong returns home to take on Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium.

2.30pm - Hear from Patrick Dangerfield, Steve Hocking, Meg McDonald and Ford AU and NZ CEO Andrew Birkic at the Ford Research and Development Centre, as the Cats celebrate their 100 year partnership with Ford this week. 

5.30pm - The coaches votes are in for Round Three, find out which Cats were amongst the best players on the ground against Brisbane.

TUESDAY

12.00pm - Check out the key performers from the VFL Cats round two clash, as they continued their perfect start to the season with a win against the Northern Bullants. 

3.00pm - Meg McDonald and Cameron Ling are back for this week's episode of Geelong Cats podcast, 'To the Final Bell.'

4.00pm - Bob Gartland takes Tom Stewart through some items relating to the 1925 premiership triumph over Collingwood, as Geelong celebrate the centenary of Ford and their first premiership win.

5.00pm - The GMHBA Health Update will be released for round four. Check out the Health Hub on Geelong's website. 

WEDNESDAY

2.00pm - Catch the second edition of Geelong's 2025 Rookie Journal, this week Jay Polkinghorne sits down with Cats Media. 

6.00pm - Time Cat-Sule this week will take a look back at some iconic after-the-siren finishes from Geelong's V/AFL history, honing in on one particular clash against Melbourne in 2018. 

THURSDAY

12.00pm - Catch up on all the key stats and figures to keep an eye on this weekend in the Cats opposition analysis. 

2.00pm - Chris Scott fronts the media for his weekly press conference one day out from Geelong's round four clash.

6.20pm - The team is in for the round four clash with Melbourne, tune into Cats channels to see the ins and outs for Friday night.

6.20pm - Ahead of their curtain raiser on Friday afternoon, the VFL Cats will also announce their team in line with Geelong's AFL team. 

FRIDAY

10.00am - Geelong's weekly match preview will be released on the website, providing everything you need to know for Friday night's game.

3.50pm - Friday's action kicks off with the VFL Cats, as they take on the Casey Demons at GMHBA Stadium in search of their third consecutive win. 

7.10pm - Lead by Geelong champions Tom Hawkins and Zach Tuohy, the Ford motorcade will take place celebrating the 10 premierships won by the Cats during their iconic 100 year partnership with Ford. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 7.00pm in preparation for the motorcade. 

7.40pm - Time for the main event of the evening, as Geelong and Melbourne do battle in their round four clash. 

10.30pm - Catch up on all the action from Friday night's game through the match report, available on the Cats website.

SATURDAY

9.00am - Tune back in on Saturday morning to hear from Chris Scott in his post game press conference. 

12.30pm - Take a look through some of the key stats takeaways and top performers from both the AFL and VFL matches. 

 

The Geelong Football Club and Ford will celebrate their 100 year partnership this weekend, when the Cats take on Melbourne on Friday night at GMHBA Stadium.  

As part of the celebrations, Geelong will have a number of exciting activations including a Ford premiership motorcade, a fan photo opportunity, while the VFL Cats will also be in action as a curtain raiser at GMHBA Stadium.
