GEELONG captain Joel Selwood believes he'll be fit to take on Hawthorn in the Eastern Monday blockbuster despite a leg complaint against Melbourne.
Selwood reached for his right leg following a crunching tackle from Demon Josh Wagner and moved to full-forward in the third term.
The skipper returned to the centre square for the final term and collected nine possessions as the Cats held on for a three-point victory.
"It's all good, just a little bit of a shock at the time but (was) able to run it out and feel good after that," Selwood said on Monday.
The Cats continue to sweat on the outcome of Harry Taylor's scans for plantar fasciitis after he failed to return to the field after quarter-time.
Defender Tom Stewart said on Monday he was feeling no ill-effect after having his left ankle looked at by club medical staff, while Cam Guthrie will be monitored after a groin complaint.
