GEELONG’s Tom Hawkins has claimed the maximum return in AFLCA voting for his seven-goal performance against the Demons.
Hawkins received the perfect score of 10 votes after booting four majors in the final term to spearhead the Cats’ late revival at GMHBA Stadium.
The bag of seven takes Hawkins to fourth in the Coleman Medal race, trailing the second-placed Lance Franklin but just one goal. Ben Brown has a considerable lead at the head of the field, with a 10-goal gap on Franklin.
Patrick Dangerfield was awarded five votes for his 29 disposals, two goals and seven tackles, while Tom Stewart secured four for his 22 touches and six marks in defence.
Three Demons were also recognised by the coaches, with Clayton Oliver polling eight votes, Tom McDonald two and Christian Petracca one.
