GEELONG fans aren't surprised to see Steven Motlop in the shop window during the NAB AFL Trade Period, giving the goalsneak's season a big thumbs down.
Despite an excellent finals series, Motlop topped the vote for the year's biggest flop as fans gave their season verdict on the Cats in an AFL.com.au survey.
Patrick Dangerfield was emphatically named Geelong's player of the season, earning the nod from 69 per cent of surveyed fans.
The drop-off was dramatic, with fellow midfielder Mitch Duncan recognised in second place for his career-best year with just 12 per cent of the vote.
Support for coach Chris Scott waned, dropping from the mid-season fan survey result of 84 per cent to 73 per cent, following the Cats' second straight preliminary finals exit.
Here are the full survey results, including a selection of Cats fans' moments to remember and forget.
