NEXT year's JLT Community Series will see the AFL travel to a variety of grounds around Australia, including four new arenas to showcase the sport played at the highest level.

Here is a look of the venues where top-level football will make its debut in 2018.

KINGSTON TWIN OVALS (Hobart)
North Melbourne v Melbourne, Saturday, February 24

It could be the first appearance Jake Lever makes in Melbourne colours, after last turning out for Adelaide in the Grand Final. Up to 7000 will be in a ground that has dimensions of 160m x 125m. Opened in 2011, only broadcast towers and coaches' boxes need to be modified to make it AFL standard.

STRATHALBYN OVAL (South Australia)
Adelaide v Fremantle, Sunday, February 25

Plenty of Adelaide locals will make the 50-minute trip south-east of Adelaide for what may be their first chance to see Bryce Gibbs in Crows colours. However, the biggest pre-season show in South Australia will be about a fortnight later, when Adelaide and Port Adelaide face off at Alberton Oval on Saturday, March 10.

CENTRAL RESERVE (Colac)
Geelong v Essendon, Sunday, March 11

Recently upgraded after a $2.5 million contribution from the Federal Government, the ground will be ready to play host to these two sides. Colac is famously known for being the birthplace of former Hawthorn champion Luke Hodge, who now represents the Brisbane Lions.
