Cockatoo was reported for rough conduct after his tackle on Fremantle’s Michael Johnson resulted in the defender being taken from the ground.
The Match Review Panel graded it as high impact and careless resulting in a three-match ban that can be reduced to two with an early plea.
The Cats decided to accept the ban on Tuesday.

Nakia Cockatoo, Geelong Cats, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Michael Johnson, Fremantle, during the fourth quarter of the Round Four NAB Challenge match between the Geelong Cats and Fremantle, played at Domain Stadium on Saturday March 12, 2016.
