Geelong’s board of directors will not be opposed at election, ensuring that Colin Carter, Bob Gartland, Justin Andrews, Craig Drummond, Hugh Seward, Kate Spargo and Diana Taylor will continue as directors.
Alistair Hamblin, who has served for 12 years on the board, has retired from his position.
“The club has been through a decade long period of success both on and off the field,” Geelong president Colin Carter said.
“We have seen success on the field and the club has generated significant income through its business operations. We have also made a commitment to make a difference in our community, and over the past five years we have delivered on that commitment.
“It is pleasing that the members have such faith in the club and have determined that we should continue. In the coming years we will see the new Brownlow stand opened and be debt free as a club.
“We all look forward to continuing to serve the members during this term.”
The 2016 annual general meeting will be held on 19 December at 7pm in the Captains room at Simonds Stadium.
