Cory Gregson is set to spend more time in the midfield this season, according to none other than Cats senior coach Chris Scott.

Scott spoke about Gregson’s continuing improvement on this year’s first episode of Tweet The Coach brought to you by Momentum Energy.

“He had a really good start to his career last year,” Scott said.

“Often players find it a little bit difficult in their second year, but Cory has given himself every chance [to improve further] with a really strong pre-season.

“He’s turning out to be one our best runners on the list, if not overall athletes.

“He’s obviously relatively short, but he’s really strong for his size, and it looks like he’s going to be a complete player.

“We think he’s going to play a little bit more time in the midfield, so hopefully we can get the ball in his hands as well, because he is a very good user.”
