Cats full forward Tom Hawkins may miss this weekend’s blockbuster clash with North Melbourne after he was suspended by the AFL’s match review panel.
Hawkins was offered a two week suspension that can be reduced to one week with an early plea for striking Phil Davis during the fourth quarter.
The match review panel assessed the strike as being intentional, low impact and high contact.
The Cats will make a decision on whether to challenge the decision on Tuesday.
