Humphries on his selection in the Indigenous All Stars Squad
I am super excited, it is a good opportunity and something that hasn't happened for a few years.
I am really grateful for the timing, I am lucky that I have only been in the competition for a year and get to play in it.
It is a very exciting occasion, playing with some really good footballers.
It should be a good time, going back home to Western Australia is also nice and getting to play an early game is good.
Humphries on Community Camp
We were out in Torquay yesterday, it is nice to be out in the community.
Being from Western Australia, not seeing a lot of these towns it is really cool to come and see the people. It is a different part of the world which is really cool.
Also nice to know that we have that support in the regional areas, it means a lot to us on game days when they come.
It is nice for us to come out and show that we appreciate their support. It is epic to have so many people here, the kids love it which is good and we enjoy that.
Humphries on his training focus
I think it is the same as everybody, each year you are trying to get better.
I have had another pre-season which is really exciting, hopefully I can get a little bit stronger and a little bit fitter.
I am trying to continue working on different parts of my game, the big one is knowing my strengths and just keep trying to play to them.
You can get caught up in trying to fix all your weaknesses, I want to keep improving my strengths as well. I am looking forward to a big year, hopefully we can go one week better.
Humphries on who has impressed during pre-season
It has been a bit of a weird pre-season because it has been so short, but all the boys have hit it with a really good intensity.
It is hard to individualise any standouts because of the nature of it.
Games are only a couple of weeks away, so everybody knows that if we work hard now, we will be good to go when the season starts.
Everyone has hit the track really well, the boys are confident and happy so it is good.
