Geelong premiership player Max Rooke has joined the Gold Coast Suns as a development coach.
Rooke, who played 135 games with the Cats and was a member of both the 2007 and 2009 premierships, has held a similar position with the Cats for the past four seasons.
Gold Coast Suns General Manager of Football Operations, Marcus Ashcroft, said the club is thrilled to have Rooke on board.
"Max is a quality person and we believe our younger players will learn an enormous amount from him as development coach.”
Rooke will commence his coaching duties next Monday 2 November.
