To steal a line from Sandy Roberts, George Horlin-Smith was the King of Geelong on Sunday night.
His late goal, which handed the Cats a one-point win after they had trailed by as many as 32 points in the third quarter, was a great moment in a career that looks to be taking off again after a lean run over the last couple of seasons.
There are few more popular players at the Cattery than Horlin-Smith, and there are few harder workers on and off the track, so his effort put a smile on many faces, including his own.

However, there were plenty of other team-lifting acts in the comeback victory.
Joel Selwood's mark running with the flight in the dying moments was an extraordinary act of bravery, while Darcy Lang's running goal that levelled the scores was a beauty.
Then there were the acts that kept the Cats in the game when North Melbourne was making the running.
There was Patrick Dangerfield's intercept and goal late in the third quarter, and there were Daniel Menzel's four crucial goals, including an absolute cracker from the boundary line in the second quarter.
