CATS forward Mitch Clark has combined with his local Harley Davidson dealership to support the Geelong Animal Welfare Society’s Christmas campaign.
GAWS is encouraging the people of Geelong to think about adopting one of the animals currently in its care.
To promote the message, Clark and GAWS chief executive Adrian Buckley recently made an appearance at the impressive Harley Davidson showroom in the Geelong suburb of Newtown.
"Every animal - dogs and cats and whatever else - deserves a good home," Clark told CatsTV.
Added Buckley: "Out at GAWS we've got a Christmas appeal to help support our animal shelter, which helps rehome all the Geelong community animals that are lost or have been handed in to the shelter."
"That's currently unfunded, so we're looking to support some fundraising."
The Geelong Harley Davidson Club holds a number of annual fundraisers to support GAWS.
The local dealership is also where Clark, a keen Harley rider, purchased his latest machine.
