Geelong star Patrick Dangerfield has opened a seven-vote lead in the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year award after polling yet another perfect 10 following the Cats' win over the Western Bulldogs at Simonds Stadium on Friday night.
Dangerfield received five votes from both coaches after racking up 33 disposals and kicking three goals.
Rhys Stanley received seven votes for his five-goal performance.
Corey Enright, Mitch Duncan and Andrew Mackie were the other Cats player to poll votes.
