CATS coach Chris Scott has praised Mark Blicavs for the amount of work he has done to make himself a very good player at the highest level.
Scott was asked on the latest episode of Tweet The Coach, brought to you by Momentum Energy about Blicavs' ability to get himself into the right places on the field.
He replied: "He's a very fast learner. The thing that has accellerated his development is his willingness to learn. He has an insatiable appetite for knowledge.
"That ability to get in the right place at the right time, I think a lot of people believe is innate.
"But Mark, to an extent, has shown us or proved to us that it can be learnt."
The round 20 edition of Tweet The Coach also includes Scott's thoughts on:
* Whether he is tempted to use Josh Walker at full-forward and Tom Hawkins at centre half-forward
* The need for aggressive manning of the mark
* His favourite Steve Johnson moments
* The way Geelong's younger players are developing
