It's fair to say Xavier Wright loves the Cats.
He's been an avid member of the Geelong Football Club since he was three and collects all kinds of Cats memorabilia, from teddies to flags and just about everything in between.
The seven-year-old's collection is so impressive in fact, that he was recently selected as part of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery's Young Collectors program.
Featured in the display is Xavier's Slamin' Sam Tomcat, who he sleeps with every night which means the teddy is a little worse for wear.
"He is so worn out, he's needed surgery on his legs, head and feet," Xavier said.
The young Cats fan receives most of his items from family and friends and attributes his love for the Cats to his Mama, who lives in Geelong.
"She is a mad Cats fan too. She is one of the main reasons I love the Cats so much," Xavier said.
Xavier's collection will be on display for three months.
