Burbury faces another setback
George Burbury will be out for a few weeks after tearing his hamstring during rehab
Unfortunately George Burbury has had another disappointing setback during rehab and will be out of action for the next few weeks.
Geelong’s physio Mark Young says the club will focus on getting Burbury back before the business end of the season begins.
This year the young Cat has endured a broken jaw, a troubled hip and now a re-torn hamstring.
“George is having a frustrating year, he’s had a setback in his rehab and we’ll now look to sit him out for the next few weeks to get things right so he can make a strong run towards the end of the year,” Young told Cats TV on the nib Medical Report.
Hamish McIntosh, who upset his ankle against the Suns, has shown positive improvement on the training track.
“He’s been really good earlier this week and signs are looking good for him to come back this week,” Young said.
