Round one will kick off when Carlton and Richmond clash on Thursday, March 23, at the MCG.
Other round one highlights include: Collingwood v Western Bulldogs, MCG (Friday, March 24), Sydney Swans v Port Adelaide, SCG, North Melbourne v West Coast, Etihad Stadium, Gold Coast v Brisbane Lions, Metricon Stadium Essendon v Hawthorn, MCG (Saturday, March 25), Adelaide v Greater Western Sydney, Adelaide Oval, St Kilda v Melbourne, Etihad Stadium, Fremantle v Geelong, Domain Stadium (Sunday, March 26)
In round four, the Roos and Dogs will play the first ever game on Good Friday. The match will start at 4.20pm at Etihad Stadium.
In round eight, Gold Coast and Port Adelaide will play in China on Sunday, May 14.
In round 10, the Demons will host Gold Coast in a twilight game at TIO Traegar Park in Alice Springs on Saturday, May 27. The game is part of the Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous Round.
In round 17, the Demons will play Adelaide in Darwin for a round 17 clash at TIO Stadium on Saturday, July 15.
In round 18, the Western Bulldogs will host Gold Coast in a twilight game (4.35pm AEST) at Cazaly's Stadium in Cairns on July 22.
