The two Bombers who will require Cam Guthrie’s defensive pressure Friday night are Brendon Goddard and Dyson Heppell says Herald Journalist Scott Gullan.

According to Gullan, those two midfielders will cause the most trouble if left unattended.

“Goddard and Heppell, with Jobe Watson out, they’re the two play-makers of this team,” Gullan said.

This year Goddard has delivered a game average of 25 touches and 7.5 marks, while Heppell continues down a perilous path of  28 touches and five clearances per game.

“I think Guthrie goes there. I mean Goddard had 16 touches in the last quarter and won the game (against Adelaide) last week.

“Guthrie can play various positions, so if Goddard goes forward Guthrie can play on him - so I’d look at that or maybe Heppell, they’re the two.”
